Milo Greene has been my crush for weeks – months even. I’ve basically babbled about the indie folk quintet to my friends and acquaintances (strangers, even) so I see no point why you guys shouldn’t hear about them too.
Composed of four members beautifully harmonizing on vocals: Robbie Arnett, Graham Fink, Andrew Heringer and Marlena Sheetz are joined by Curtis Marrero on percussion. Milo Greene released their self-titled debut album earlier this year, and are currently on the road for their Fall Tour. With the album’s 13 tracks, it’s almost impossible for me to pick a favorite – as it’s one of those albums that is best heard as a whole.
But for now, I’ll leave you with the track ‘Cutty Love‘ – it’s gritty, heart-wrenching, and amazing when performed live.
