Track of the Week: Kodaline – Love like This

Can you feel it? Can you feel Kodaline taking over my The 1975 obsession (who took over my Alt-J’s?). I can almost feel it. But I probably jinxed it by mentioning it this early. I have been listening to their debut In A Perfect World and picked a couple of favorites, “Love Like This” one of the early ones. I love Stephen’s voice, he kinda sounds like a guy in a punk/emo band though, instead of playing the mandolin and the harmonica (yes he plays that part at the intro on live sessions which is uh-maazing). But who am I to complain? Their tracks are catchy, the vocals are emotive, and I have been tweeting bits and pieces of their lyrics just cause it’s the kind that resonates in my head.
