I know. I know, I know, I know. I took a vacation. A pretty long one but I’m gonna make up for it by recommending Sea Wolf‘s “The Water’s Wide” off of his newly-released album, Song Spells No. 1: Cedarsmoke. The whole album is solid, by the way. It induces some light cabin feels (not the heavy Bon Iver sadness, just Bon Iver-cabin-in-the-woods-peaceful type of atmosphere).

Sea Wolf is a band from California fronted by Alex Brown Church. This is the band’s fourth and the first self-released album. If you feel the need to listen to their old songs, you can check out “The Violet Hour” taken from the Twilight soundtrack.
